How We Work At Bloom Therapy
At Bloom Therapy, we’re here to make the process simple and supportive for you and your child. Whether you’re part of a partnered school or not, we’ll guide you every step of the way. Here’s what to expect:
Getting Started
For School-Based Referrals:
If your child’s teacher or inclusion team has identified any concerns, they will discuss these with you and explore how to support your child. Together, you’ll decide if a screening or further assessment is needed, and your consent will always be sought before moving forward.
For Other Referrals:
You can self-refer by contacting us directly.
You may also be referred by another professional (e.g., pediatrician, psychologist, or another therapist).
Screening
For Families in Partnered Schools:
Fill out the form here or request a consent form from your child’s teacher or inclusion team.
Once we receive the consent form, we’ll assign a therapist and schedule a screening at school.
After the screening, you’ll receive:
A feedback call or online meeting with the therapist.
A written report within a week.
For For Families Outside Partnered Schools:
Call us directly or request a callback here to organise your child’s screening.
We’ll guide you through the process and schedule a billable 45-minute screening at our clinic.
During the screening:
You’ll discuss your concerns with the therapist.
After the session, you’ll receive feedback, recommendations, and a written report within a week.
Based on the screening, your therapist may recommend one of the following next steps:
Monitor and Review: We’ll check in after a specific time to reassess your child’s needs.
Comprehensive Assessment: A deeper evaluation to better understand your child’s strengths and challenges.
Referral to Another Professional: If needed, we’ll connect you with another clinical specialist.
Therapy Sessions: Regular sessions tailored to your child’s needs.
Your Therapy Journey
Once registration is complete, we’ll create a therapy schedule tailored to your child’s needs:
For Partnered Schools:
Sessions typically take place at school, with schedules coordinated between the therapist, teacher, and parents.
If you’d like to attend sessions, we can organize a mix of school and clinic-based sessions. This allows you to observe, ask questions, and be actively involved in your child’s progress.
For Self - Referred:
Sessions are held at our clinic, with schedules arranged directly between the therapist and parents.
Insurance: Our admin team can help you check your insurance coverage. We are also able provide medical reports for insurance purposes.
Teletherapy: We also offer teletherapy for families who prefer or require remote support. This is an option for those outside Dubai or the UAE, or for anyone looking for flexible therapy solutions. Click here to learn more about how teletherapy works and whether it’s the right fit for your child.
