The group is suitable for children aged 4–8 years.
4. How is this group different from other groups?
The Social Stars Group is a therapy-driven programme led by a qualified speech and language therapist. Each session is carefully planned to build foundational skills such as turn-taking, interpreting social cues, initiating conversations, maintaining conversations, and managing peer interactions, all tailored to each child’s developmental needs.
5. Why is this group run by a speech therapist?

We keep our groups small, with a maximum of 4–5 children. This ensures each child receives individualised attention while benefiting from group interaction.

Absolutely. Our therapist is experienced in creating a safe and welcoming environment where even the most reserved children feel supported and encouraged to participate.
9. How do I know if this group is suitable for my child?
Before joining, we conduct a complimentary consultation with parents and the child to understand if the group is appropriate and will support their social communication goals.
10. Will I receive feedback about my child’s progress?
Yes. Our therapist provides regular updates to keep you informed about your child’s progress and the strategies they are working on.
11. Where are the sessions held, and how often do they run?
Sessions are held at Bloom Therapy Speech Center once a week on Friday after school. Each session lasts 45 minutes.
